Happy
Tuesday!
During the
school year, it is one of my top priorities to save time and find ways to make
my teaching life easier. One thing that
I absolutely disliked was spending time finding activities to send home for
homework each week via a homework packet and second was using all that precious
copy paper to print it! At a school that
only gave out one ream of paper a month, that paper was like gold. I absolutely love how easy these are to
print, pass out and collect! I have my
students complete the activities in a homework journal aka a composition
journal.
Below is what the calendar view will look like.
Included in the product is both a reading and a math calendar. I
have my students pick one activity off of each calendar a day (M-Th) to
complete. There are numbers on each square so the students can label what
task they completed in their journal or on their activity sheet.
Here
is what the weekly view looks like. There are four weeks included.
Activity sheets are included if you would prefer to print those as
well. The homework activities are rigorous and help parents spend time
with their students and help them see what their child is learning at school.
Hope everyone has a great beginning of the school year!!
You can grab these calendars HERE!
